About the author Elmay Powell-Hatcher, Ed.D., is an author and a motivational speaker in the field of self-development. She is the author of the book-Searching for the Best. She is a member of the ZETA Phi Beta Sorority. Her major researches are in education leadership and multicultural education. She is spiritually and professionally committed to inspire people to follow their dreams. Elmay has spent over thirty years educating and inspiring people. Through her workshops she gives people the tools to stop the emotional roller coaster that is hindering them from following their dreams and to move forward to finding their dreams. She received her doctorate in educational leadership from Nova Southeastern University and is an adjunct professor at Nova Southeastern University. Elmay resides with her husband of 28 years in Delray Beach, Florida.
