About the Book
A Journey to the Promise Land, the millennium experience, is a travel biography and an eye-witness account of the Ethiopian Millennium celebrations, detailing the experiences and activities of the Author during the Ethiopian Millennium celebrations. The narratives contained in this book are a true account of the Author’s experience and activities during the Ethiopian millennium. Apart from the chapters titled ‘Background’, ‘Preparation’ and ‘Departure & Arrival’, the rest of the chapters are titled Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 and so on. Each day gives an account of the Author's main activities and experiences. The last chapter is titled ‘My Thoughts’. This chapter is to a large extent the conclusion of the book and a reflection of The Author’s thoughts, aspirations and vision for Africa for the new millennium.
About the Author
Seifa Mikael is a Freelance Journalist, Song Writer and Performing Artist who have spent a great deal of time researching the subject of Ethiopianism with a keen interest in African Spirituality and African affairs. The Author is a member of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, an indigenous African Church, where he continues to receive spiritual guidance and enlightenment through the power of the Holy Spirit. He is more renowned in the field of music and has produced three musical albums titled ‘Defender of the Orthodox Faith’, ‘This Millennium Inna Ethiopian Region’ and ‘The Good News’. He is currently based in The United Kingdom and refers to himself as an Ethiopian-African.
