About the Author
I was born and raised in the English countryside but emigrated to Canada when I was in my twenties and currently live just outside of Toronto. The sudden tragic loss of my only son, followed by major surgery, left me with too much time on my hands and I desperately needed to occupy my thoughts With the encouragement of a close friend, I located the first two pages of the childrens book that I had tucked away several years back. I started writing where I left off and much to my amazement, the words flowed like a steadily running stream. I was never lost for words and the little creatures just came alive as I wrote. I only stopped writing to sleep and eat. I have never felt such a sense of accomplishment and pride than to see this, my first book of STORIES FROM GRIMLEY FOREST. The outlines for four more books in this series are already on the way. My son is always with me in spirit when I sit down to write, he was an avid bookworm himself and had a wonderful way with words. Through him, I am finding peace once more.
