This story begins in a small town, Colma California. It is South of San Francisco, California. Colma is a Cemetery town not many things happen there! The Ottoboni family was a household name. My father Raymond D.Ottoboni was a powerful Politician and a Real Estate Tycoon! My name is Raymond J. Ottoboni, I followed in my father’s footsteps. I was the youngest councilman and then the youngest mayor in California. When I was a policeman I was always in the local newspapers. Every mistake I made it was in the newspaper! My life was surrounded with ups and downs, like a merry-go-round! The most bewildering true story took place in the 1970’s and the 1980’s. In 1970 I was a rookie policeman and I was involved with a serial killer! In 1971, I became Chief of Police. In 1972 I was involved with the mob! Four years later I was arrested in Colma California! In 1980 I was elected Councilmen of Colma. In 1983 I became Mayor of Colma! This is totally incredible! In 1985 I became a multimillionaire and thirteen years later I was broke. To the reader, is it possible all the chain of events happened to one individual? The word extremist is a very interesting word. Do you know what it means? Read this story! Extremist is a person that is completely Fucked up! The story tells about a man in Reno, Nevada that became a legend! His money, fame and compassion for helping other people. He became a legend in his own lifetime. He had it all! Money, women and fancy cars. He had a unique way of getting in and out of trouble. This man was known as the “Cowboy!” He was the most Famous individual in Northern Nevada! This story is continuously reminiscing into the past! I tried to stop thinking about what happened back then, but my mind is weak. I started thinking about the “Zodiac” days. I had Flashbacks during the days of the Cowboy’s era. It made me feel powerful! I ended up broke in late 1998. Later in the years, the flashbacks became more terrifying and the nightmares became more realistic! The torment of that day in Lake Tahoe in 1970 is punishment enough. The sin of that night will haunt me continuously. In some twisted way, my mind suggests that somehow I am to blame. When the mob approached me in 1972, I did what I thought was right! I am not sorry for the decision I made. My family was in danger so I had no other choice. I wrote a book in 2009 about the “Zodiac” serial killer. The police departments that were involved in the “Zodiac” case believed I was a fraud. The San Francisco police believed there were two “Zodiacs. One Killing and one writing the letters. In my book I stated there are two “Zodiac” killers, how come they did not believe me? Was there a police cover up? But why? The “Zodiac” Killings were never solved. Today most people are thinking what did happen to the “Zodiac” Killer? Who was he? Terrible memories of the murder of Donna Lass and my involvement with the “Zodiac” killer and the loss of millions of dollars took its toll on me. In 2001 I changed my name to Gino Valentino. This story is about an individual from a small town becoming famous for his achievements and his failures. You the reader, after reading this autobiography you will understand how difficult it was to write about someone you never knew. Two different people! The cowboy struggling to protect Prostitutes, running away from their Pimps! What a story! If you like excitement, this is the story for you. I hope you do not get frightened!

My life was surrounded with ups and downs. My story becomes a living nighmare for me the flasback’s became more terrifying and the nightmares came more realistic. The story will mystify you! It will become more confusing, with all the bizarre endings. Two girl friends died, one was murdered! When I was a rookie police officer, I was inadvertently involved with a serial killer! Two years later, from 1972 to 1975, I was involved with the mob. I had no other choice was I a crooked cop? If I didn’t cooperate with them, I wouldn’t be alive today! I found out later, there was a conspiracy against me! Not only I go t fired as a policeman, later I got arrested. Later on, I made my miracle comeback in politics. I made California history, by winning the town election! When both of my parents died, I inherited millions of dollars which changed my life drastically! Do you believe all these events happened to one person. That is unbelievable! Life is unpredictable and mysterious, if I did not get arrested in 1976 and four years later made my miracle comeback in politics. This book never would have been written. I have a unique way of writing. I continue to talk to the reader thoughout the story. This special writing technique keeps the reader involved in my story. When I lived in Reno, Nevada, I started betting ten or twenty thousand dollars a day. The casino workers started calling me “cowboy.” That name became famous in northern Nevada! The “cowboy” was involved in many terrifying and dangerous events. The fear and sensations throbbing through my body, made me a dangerous man. Especially, when I became a bounty hunter. I was a gun collector. Therefore, I had many weapons! I believed it was my duty to go after the person that murdered my girl friend and I knew who he was! My story will keep you in suspense from the beginning to the end. The rise and fall of a legend! The “cowboy” will always be a legend in northern Nevada. The name “cowboy” will live forever! If you are a book reader, you must read this book. I promise you will not regret it!

My name is Raymond J. Ottoboni. I was born in San Francisco, California, and raised in Colma, California. Colma is a small town south of San Francisco. Having grown up an only child of wealthy parents, I think it’s fair to say that I had a somewhat sheltered childhood. My father was a powerful man, and he never believed in failure. That made my life very difficult, because everything had to be perfect. I skipped two grades in elementary school, so I was very young when I went to High School. I attended Serra High School in San Mateo, California. The catholic priests started me gambling. Throughout my life I lost millions of dollars. I was in politics most of my life. When I was 23 years old I was the youngest Councilman in California. Then in 1968, I was the youngest Mayor in California. Being the son of a powerful Father is a total nightmare! I couldn’t get in any trouble. The family name was sacred and powerful. That means my Father had lots of enemies. My life was a living hell. I have a unique way of writing. I always kept the reader involved in my story. For example, the situation in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Would the reader handled that differently! I’m an unusual person. The thrill of knowing that I could die made me stronger. I wasn’t scared of anybody, including the FBI! Maybe, I had a death wish! It is very difficult to write about yourself. Especially, when you was involved in many dangerous situation. When I was writing about the things I did in my life, I was having nightmares every night! I wanted to stop writing, but I knew someone would enjoy reading about a person that had fame, money, and women and lost everything! My life was in danger constantly. It’s amazing that I am still alive today!
