About the Author

This book was written to help anyone interested in finding the descendants of Samuel Miller, born 1794-1800, and died 1831. Samuel lived and died in Montgomery County, Georgia I cann't find where he or his parents were from or who his parents were. This book can be used as workbook for those wiling to put a little time and effort in research to compelete it. While going through life if you see a blank most everyone wants to fill it in, that is a great way to complete this book. I have over twenty years involved in this book, It started when my son who was in college at the time wanted to know which Miller Family, I came from in Georgia. There was an Andrew Jackson Miller, a farmer and a Andrew Jackson Miller, a Doctor, I told him that would be easy to answer, I knew my grandparents were farmers in Mitchell County, Georgia. He suggested that I do some research on this. So I started this search in early 1980 until now, and enjoyed every moment. It is a great feeling to go the cemetary and think of all those bones and then put life back into your relatives, Finding out where they came from and lived and what they did for a living is so interesting. As you go through the book you will find wills poems and court records that has words spelled wrong but that is the way they appear ed on documents. I have listed some notes along with Death Notices, as well as Obituaries, when I could get them, I would search the newspapers and other records to verify if these people were related to me. Then I made a copy and entered them in my research. This book is intended for me and my family and anyone interested in this information. So many have shared information with me. I hope each one will get something out of this and make them want to find out more on their Descendants, where they lived, what work they did, where they came from. I am proud to be a part of this SAMUEL MILLER FAMILY, and proud to be AMERICAN. Joe E Miller
