About the Book

Most men do not keep diaries…at least they would not admit to it! Martin’s Story reveals the inner thoughts and secrets of a man who is thought by his family to be “Mr. Nice Guy,” the son that any mother can be proud of…the cousin that any cousin would hope for. Martin is all of those things, but he is more. He has a life of his own that does not fit into any neat category. His desire to love and be loved does not meet the formula of society’s norm. One could read this novel feeling that he has finally read a man’s private diary…and perhaps he has!

About the Author

E. M. Albano was born in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania and attended public schools there before attending the Pennsylvania State University. After an unsuccessful first year at Penn State and after teaching ballroom dancing for the Arthur Murray studios, he enlisted in the military, serving most of his three year tour with the US Army in France. Upon returning from active duty, he launched a successful career in real estate. Midway through his business career, he decided to return to university studies earning a Bachelor Degree from Penn State in 1987 and a Master Degree in Humanities in 1988. His studies abroad have included French grammar in Paris, Italian in Perugia, and an independent study in Journalism in London. Albano has taught English Composition as an adjunct at several community colleges and earned certification that enabled him to serve as a substitute instructor for Special Education in the Bucks County Intermediate Program for a period of ten years. Since retiring from real estate in 2006, the author now dedicates his full time to writing. He does most of his creative writing while spending a portion of his year in Paris. In order to prepare for his next book: “The Widow Andrea,” he has recently returned from South America where he visited both cities in Brazil and Buenos Aires, Argentina. “Martin’s Story” is the author’s fourth novel and the second of a trilogy related to his first book, “The Widow’s Web.”
