About the Author
Earl Shongo Jr., a young American Indian of the Mohawk tribe, is working as a missionary among the people of the Blackfoot Indian reservation in Montana. After writing this book as a high school project in his senior year, he is now hoping that by publishing his book he can earn the finances ro help support this missionary work. Growing up in rural Minnesota he was able to enjoy nature. He is the sixth of seven children. Many days were spent playing and exploring the great outdoors with his siblings. Several usual and unusual feats of competition arose as they went about their day. From various sports to splitting wood they could find a way to compete. He has topped off this exciting start to life with a deep commitment to God through the saviing grace of His Son, Jesus Christ. He is now serving God with all the fun, energy and excitement that he experienced while growing up.
