The very thought made his heart accelerate until it began to beat out a steady rhythm in his chest. The scene was set. He had everything in place.

About the Author
Melissa has been writing since she was old enough to hold a pen. She often looks back on those earlier stories, and though they are full of drama and a child's innocence, they are evidence that she has always lived in other worlds. She has a full-time job which, though does not involve writing per se, incorporates her love of language. As a British Sign Language Interpreter, she gets to translate information between two languages and has fun doing it. She has two beautiful daughters who bring great joy. They also keep her grounded, otherwise her head would be permanently in the clouds thinking about whichever character was vying for attention. She writes whenever and wherever the need takes her. She's been known to grab a notebook and pen with the television playing in the background, food in the oven, and chaos bordering on all out war as two little girls fight over the TV. Give her a pad, pen, and a pint sized mug of coffee and she'll happily write for many an hour.
