About the Book

Etienne had not looked at a woman in five years.  His nickname at the hospital was Dr. Frigid but when Helen Bradford rolled in on a gurney a few days before Christmas into his ER, everything changed.  He could not get her violet blue eyes out of his head and for the first time in his life he did not care about breaking the rules.

Helen, mesmerised by his dark good looks and singsong French accent soon realized what she had been missing all her life!

Unexpected desires, which neither of them anticipated became too intense to ignore.

Refusing to brush what they felt under the carpet, they indulge in emotional rendezvous to Lille, France where they come to realize that love had no boundaries and once they found it, neither could look back.

About the Author

Sharmela McLaughlin grew up in Point Fortin, a small town in her native twin isle of  Trinidad & Tobago and loves to quote that she is Trini to the Bone.

Inspiration for her novel Lovers in Lille was derived from the author's fascination of the French and their romantic nature.

Sharmela resides in Northern Ireland with her partner and is currently employed with a global outsourcing company - Fisrtsource Solutions as a customer service advisor for BSKYB.

When she is not working she loves doing what she does best - writing.
