About the Author

Ben Seebaran, M.Ed. has had a distinguished career as an English teacher, Vice-Principal, and Summer School Principal with the Vancouver School Board in Canada.

He was born in Trinidad, and attended Iere High School, where he was Head Prefect, Valedictorian, and best all-round student. Ben Seebaran has an insatiable love and passion for teaching and compassion for students, especially those needing help and motivation to perform at high levels.

He has an empathic understanding of the difficulties faced by students in a new learning environment.
