WHISPERS IN THE MIST Drifting out from behind the pines Whispers are spoken in rhythms and rhymes Silhouettes can barely be seen As the sun peeks thru the waiting green Someone is there, but I can't see Just who is trying to speak to me I close my eyes and the heart insists Again I hear whispers, in the swirling mist Listen with your heart and not your ears As the whispers you will always hear There will come a time, when you won't know Just close your eyes and let it go Let your spirit soar, and if it resists Let it be guided, by the Whispers in the Mist.

About the Author
Gail Johnston is a writer and photographer, living in central Illinois. She was born and raised on a grain and livestock farm, and now resides on 15 acres, sharing her life with her many animals. She believes in living the old ways, and teaches many classes on living with the land. Gail is a Reiki Master/Teacher, and loves to help people and animals with the healing energy. She is also a Master Gardener and enjoys growing her own food and herbs. Gail is known for making luscious goat milk soap, and spinning wool from her sheep.
