Gracie's Story is the endearing tale of an artistic woman who created a character named Gracie Goose that brought joy and delight to the surrounding community. This book is based on a true story and Gracie Goose still stands today in Woodbridge, Connecticut. This book is 76 pages of an illustrated story for children and contains many fun original photos of Gracie Goose. Gracie's Story also reflects meaningful memories of factual occurrences from the author's childhood, as well as the artistic abilities of the author’s mother, Joan Garrity Lombardi.

About the Author

Deborah Hannon is the daughter of Joan Garrity Lombardi, the creator of Gracie Goose. This is the first book Deborah has written and illustrated. Her inspiration to write and illustrate this book was based upon the overwhelming amount of joy that Gracie Goose's holiday attire has brought to many for generations.
