About the Author

Timothy was raised on a 600 acre farm in Middle Tennessee. As a youngster he became interested in poultry. Curiosity about different patterns, comb types and body types led to research into the genetics of poultry. He acquired books on the subject by Jull and Hutt, and communicated with Dr. Willard Hollander and Mr. Fred Jefferey. Mr. Jefferey encouraged him to write down the results of his experiments and publish. After the creation of the Silver Ginger Old English Game Bantam, in 1991, he started to publish articles in the Old English Game Bantam Club of America yearbooks. He is still experimenting and opens himself up to new possibilities daily. Timothy still lives in Middle Tennessee, not far from his childhood home, with his wife Ami, and his son Caleb, who is also interested in genetics.
