Say What You Mean!

This is not a textbook! I repeat. This is not a textbook! Too many people go through twelve years of education, and some people, four years of college and still make the same simple grammatical errors over and over again. Is the word "I" or "me", "bad" or "badly", "lie" or "lay"? These are only three examples of the simple errors discussed in this booklet. Each possible error is addressed and corrected. Then, an explanation is given with or without grammatical rules and/or language depending on the needs of the reader. A page opposite the concept is offered for the reader to write his or her own sentences, showing the correct use of the word in question. Remember, one of the ways we learn is through repetition. Throughout the booklet, the reader is encouraged to repeat out loud, over and over, the correct word in a sentence. Get it in your ear! Don't go through life making the same simple grammatical errors and confusing your sophisticated listener. Whether that sophisticated listener is your boss in a business setting or a person you are speaking to in a social setting, "SAY WHAT YOU MEAN" and say it with confidence. People are often judged by their glaring simple grammatical errors. This publication will teach you the correct word to use. It will do it easily if you follow its format and direction. You will learn through your repetition and clarified thinking of the concept. For your effort you will get the job you are seeking, move up the ladder of success, and succeed socially.
