This is one of the greatest true stories I have ever been involved with. A young lady I had in class about 25 years before had a wonderful life and the skills to make a good living. She lived in Houston and had a blooming career in information technology. One day she received a telephone call from her son and heard the sad news that a grandson had been born with a rare congenital disease called arthrogryposis. She came back to her small home town against her will, but God "knew the plans He had for her life." Her son had been mixed up in drugs and so had his wife. This was their second child. He also had a daughter by another girl. The other girl had a son by another man. Hold on now and follow the story. At that time, the grandmother was not a Christian. She was determined to raise the children in church, a chance she never had. We prayed for her continually, she studied, prayed and was soon ready to accept Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

About the Author
I am a housewife, a mother of two daughters and three grand children. About four years ago my baby granddaughter came to live with us. She is a "live wire", but such a bundle of joy. When the storms are raging in my life, I turned to writing scripture to get me through the hard times. The scripture seemed to quiet my soul and satisfy my fears. After a few years I wondered what could I do with these note pads I had filled up with the Words of Jesus. I longed to share them with others, so therefore this book was born. My partner in this adventure is a mother of four children, with ten grandchildren. She is a retired school teacher, principal, Sunday School teacher, and was mayor of our hometown.
