Realm of Horror

     It’s been almost two days since an encounter with evil, that left two friends of mine isolated from the world as well as my girlfriend and I in our Stone valley cabin. Riley Sherborn, another member among the group left with a buddy six hours before they showed up, trapping everyone inside the summer home. They never came back; I think it’s safe to say that they’re dead. To make matters worse, our only means of transportation is no longer coming back. Most of our weapons were in the rear of my van, that we didn’t get a chance to unload. All we have for firearms remaining is a double barrel twelve-gauge Winchester shotgun and a forty-four magnum Desert Eagle handgun. All of the ammo we could find was eight shotgun shells and a box of bullets with only seventeen inside the carton. There was an old sturdy stainless steel hunting knife for gutting game, and a tranquillizer gun to sedate Tundra. Our food supply is almost fully exhausted putting a limit on our days of survival, with no telephone to contact help.  My cellular phone was the only way to get in touch with anyone, but it was on the dashboard in the van charging.

     Unfortunately the situation with our unexpected hairy and life-threatening guest has taken a turn for the worst leaving no hope for improvement. In the beginning our enemy kept her distance with a pack of loyal companions, roaming the border of trees to dense woodland in a crescent shape around the cabin. When dusk fell upon us a few hours ago, they slowly started to work their way closer into the clearing. It’s only a matter of time before they try getting inside after us. For the moment I can feel her watching us, waiting to see how long we can last. Torturing us, not knowing when she will attack, followed by her hungry friends.
