About the Author
ALICE CATHERINE PRINCE LONG was born and educated in Fort Pierce, Florida where she graduated from Lincoln Park Academy High School in 1964. She furthered her education at Indian River State College, and received a degree in Child Development and Early Childhood Education. She was reared in a Christian home by her parents, the late Chester and Katie Prince along with her six siblings. She's married to her husband, Willie and they are parents of five children. Alice Catherine is a dedicated disciple of Greater Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where the Reverend A. S. Carter is Pastor. She is an inspirational speaker and loves ministering to others, singing in the choir, teaching the women's Sunday school class, and attending prayer and bible study. She currently serves as vice-president to President Geraldine Marshall of the Florida Gold Coast Missionary Baptist Association where the Reverend Maurice Johnson is Moderator.
