About the Book

This book is about a young boy who learns about the Islamic concept of prayer as he strives to become a better soccer player. He discovers that while it is important to ask for God's help and guidance in everything he does, he must always be persistent in prayer and always work hard to realize his dreams.

About the Author

Growing up in America, Ms. Ahmad has always been struck by the lack of children’s books that help communicate the teachings and values of Islam and Islamic culture. In her first attempt to provide such a resource she has written a children’s book based on a Muslim family living in America. Ms. Ahmad lives in Maryland with her husband and two children.
