He worked all his life on public jobs during the day and preached at night, when we had service in the little church houses he built or if he was called to preach elsewhere. He was dedicated to his job, his family but mostly to his God. He was always available when someone needed prayer. Even with all this, we never felt neglected by him. He always had time for his girls.

About the Book
Pastor Robert Burton was a man that not only taught the word of God, but he lived it and walked it. He not only spent his life teaching the word of God, he found time to spend with his daughters. This book is about the fondest memories each of them have about him. He loved, laughed with and cherished his daughters. He and Myrtle's first child was a boy that passed away at the age of two, before any of the daughters were born. Although he always felt the pain of losing his only son, he never let it show when it came to loving his daughters. All four of his daughters, Lucille, Daisy, Iannes and Mary have children that sit on his knee as he dedicated them to God.
About the Author
Mary Ann Sadler is the youngest of four daughters born to Pastor Robert Raymond and Myrtle May Burton. She compiled all the memories of her and her sisters in this book. She and her sisters grew up under the loving care and teachings of Pastor Burton. She and all three of her sisters are widows. She was in her early thirties when her father passed away. She and her sisters continue on, on the path that he laid for them.
