Ameelia's Adventures

“ Troy! Jullian!” yelled Ameelia. ““ Uh-oh!” said Troy and Jullian together. ““ I bet Ameelia wants us to play hide-n-go seek with her.” said Jullian. ““ I would take you up on that bet but I know that you are right.” said Troy with a sigh. ““ We are over here Ameelia.” called Jullian. ““ There you guys are. Mom told me you were here. I wanted to know if you guys wanted to play hide-n-go seek with us.” said Ameelia. ““ I don’t know Ameelia. Don’t you have rehearsal tonight? Mom would be upset if you were late. What do you think Jullian?” asked Troy. ““I think you are right Troy. It is only a few hours till her rehearsal. Mom would be upset with us if Ameelia was late.” sighed Jullian. ““ Please! Pretty please! Mom said I could as long as I was back in time for rehearsal. Come on guys, just one game. Please.” begged Ameelia. ““ One game and then we all go home and get ready for rehearsal.” said Jullian. ““ Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!” all three girls exclaimed. ““ So who is going to be it first?” asked Troy with a twinkle in his eye. ““ I will go first. You better find a good hiding spot because I’ll find you.” said Jullian with a smile. Everyone scattered trying to find a good hiding spot because they all knew that Jullian was the best at finding you. Troy found a log where only a little hole was hallow. He hid in the little hole and covered himself with leaves and twigs. He’ll never find me here thought troy. Ameelia found a huge flower blossom and crawled into it. She moved the petals around her so she couldn’t be seen. She let out a quiet round of giggles as she scooted into the middle of the flower. Lindi found a group of four leaf clovers bunched together. She looked around to see if anyone was watching her and then she crawled under them. She made sure she was tucked in so that no-one could see her. Kia found a small space under one of the roots to the willow tree. She placed leaves on one side and crawled into the other side. She backed up toward the leaves as far as she could get. They all had just found their hiding places as Jullian started to cry out ““ Ready or not, here I come.” Jullian came around the willow tree and was looking for everyone. He was looking at a beautiful purple lily when he thought he saw it move. ““ Hmmmm… I wonder where my little sister could be hiding. I know that she likes pretty flowers and this big purple one sure is pretty. I wonder which one she could be hiding in.” Jullian said with a smile. Ameelia couldn’t help but giggle at what Jullian had just said. Her big brother knew her well but she wasn’t coming out on her own. All of a sudden Jullian heard someone sneeze. He knew that sneeze too, it was his brother Troy and he was close. Jullian was looking under leaves, in holes, under logs, and between flowers but there was no sign of Troy. He knew Troy had to be close, he just needed to figure out where Troy was. His attention kept coming back to the log but it wasn’t hollow. He couldn’t be in there thought Jullian. So Jullian set off to find the others.
