THE LEADERSHIP MIND

It’s time to stop and consider that you can acquire the habit of thinking only in terms of pure, positive, lofty ideals. In fact, you can reposition your mind. When you discover yourself thinking on some subject that is opposed to progressing forward, stop it immediately, and grasp with your mentality its opposite.

It may take some time to break off the bad habit, but in the end, you will conquer it. Each succeeding time, it will be increasingly more difficult for such thoughts to make their reappearance in your mental view. When you discover yourself thinking of any one of a thousand things that are negative or discordant and of no positive benefit for you, then instantly force your mind to think those thoughts which are diametrically opposed to the ones without merit that are attempting to steal your joy.

Fill your mind with respectable and high ideals. Make every effort to cultivate and develop this habit of correct thought. Conquer the discord that attempts to gain entrance into your mentality. Overcome it so thoroughly that you will never be ashamed to come face to face with yourself when you are alone with your conscience.

Get into the habit of studying carefully and painstakingly everything that could possibly benefit your career and family. I urge you to do your very best to form good habits in every possible way and to the best of your ability.  Concentrate your attention on the development of the priceless habit of positive thinking.

Moreover, cultivate enthusiasm and take an invested interest in the leadership ideals on the following pages. Be hopeful and always look at the bright side of life. If it’s a cloudy day, remember the sun will most likely be shining tomorrow. Be cheerful and utilize the ideals to continue developing the leadership mind. Once attained, you will be a 180 Degree Leader. 

By now, you should understand the leadership mind and how it may best be developed. However well I have succeeded in communication, I must leave the results to your efforts. The leadership mind is a life-changing, dominant force, and it can be developed. In every case where it exists today, it has been developed.

Naturally, as you have had occasion to understand the several qualities that make up the leadership mind, you now have the keys to mastering the superlative qualities of successful leadership. The road ahead has determined that you must continue working toward the goal of keeping quality leadership as your standard.

In conclusion, all that has been said is worth your most careful attention. If the ideals in the preceding pages are followed out in actual practice, be assured that you will find yourself richly benefited. You will have turned a complete 180 degrees, becoming the leader you always wanted to be.
