About the Author

Maureen was born in Hitchin, Hertfordshire where she met her husband when aged 9. She married a week after her 18th birthday and they have been married for nearly 55 years. With 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 2 greatgranddaughters she leads a very busy fun-packed life, now living by the sea in South Devon. With numerous business ventures under her belt including a tea room, costume hire a smallholding with various animals life has never been boring. This is what has kept her young. She and her husband ran a small hotel in Devon before she retired and started writing her first novel.
