Ali alligator had been made using blue stuffing, and so he only liked blue food. Panda and Teddy thought for a long time trying to think of food that was blue. "We could paint some bread blue", suggested Panda. "If we had blue paint we could", agreed Teddy. But both of them knew this probably wouldn't work and to get blue paint before the shop opened would be impossible. "What about painting him green or yellow or white, there are loads of food those colours", said Panda, who was fed up trying to think of blue food. "I don't think he would like that", replied Teddy. "No, he wouldn't", added Ali, looking a bit worried at the way things seemed to be going.

About the Book
The book consists of 10 stories which include all the happy and magical things you may remember from your own childhood, toys which come alive when you slept, but you never saw move. This book also has very special toys and facts / fiction - you decided or better still your child(ren) decided - it's their stories. Remember to let the children imagine the characters. The author asked his, now grown up daughters, to describe the characters and got 4 different descriptions for each character.

These stories are some of the stories that the author told to his 4 daughters when they were children. He has also told then to some of their friends and some of his nephews and nieces.
