I was sitting at my house one lazy Wednesday afternoon. My wife would be home soon and we would be off to an AA meeting after a quick supper. She had the next week off and we looked forward to riding our motorcycles down to Charleston, South Carolina the following week for vacation.
There was a knock at the back door. "Who could that be?" "Nobody comes this far into the country to visit."
"Yes, may I help you?"
"You know who I am? " stated the Sussex County Sherrif detective.
"Yes, please come in," I stated.
"Sir, I am here to inform you that you have been charged with two felonies and I am placing you under arrest!"
"God help me!"

Bad things happen to good people. Life shows up at your door and either your prepared or your not. Good hard working people have to prepare for difficult times. Behind the Glass is the first in a series of books about a mans journey through an unjust legal system. His tools for spiritual development and his preperations for a possible long prison term.
About the Author
Dr. Mayson pastors a church for folks in the alcohol and drug recovery process, in Petersburg, Virginia. He has pastored several churches in Virginia and now mostly writes along with his duties as a pastor. He does lots of private counciling all for the love of God. Dr. Mayson served his country as an Army Aviator. He worked in the private sector and then answered the call to ministry. Is currently in recovery, married to a RN named Sheila. Dr. Mayson and his wife both ride motorcycles, love to read and have a passion to help others develop spiritually.
