About the Book
"Question of Honour and Fidelity" Fifteenth century in the Kingdom of Kongo. Mani Kongo decides to accept the proposal of the king of Portugal to convert the kingdom to Christianity in exchange of military economic help. This decision does not please one of the governors of provinces which compose the kingdom. He sends one of his mistresses to pour poison in the king's wine of palm during festivities. The former governor becomes the new king. The princess, her spouse and certain notables and some others go to exile in a neighbouring kingdom. After learning the atrocities that the new king is committing, the princess and his men, without waiting for Portuguese help, decide to attack. This military expedition will end by the capture of the princess. The king of the neighbouring kingdom will do everything to acquire the help from the king of Portugal. As soon as help arrives, the spouse of the princess with her men, attack and acquire the release of the princess which becomes the queen.
