About the Author

Dr. Bryan Lewis is a distinguished teaching professor of microbiology in the College of Pharmacy at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida who has received numerous awards for teaching excellence. Throughout his career he has sought to bring excitement of the science of microbiology to others. Now, Dr. Lewis has written a children’s book about microbiology because he believes that microbiology education should begin at the earliest level.
