About the Author
D.Y. Kivanc was born in Turkiye and had an interest for art since childhood. Doing art has always her means of communication. She has participated in several gallery exhibitions in her adoptive home of Fairfax, Virginia and internationally. After so many years of traveling around the world with her husband, and operating a day care for five years, writing became necessary to index her memories of experiences. Kivanc's first book Paintings of Travels to Bhutan was published in January 2007.
