The streets are my jail, my prison. A nine to five I understand to be, the only legit way to earn a living. My imagination and dreams are a way to feel free, although they hurt me ’cause I’m still locked in. Society keeps setting standards, that has embodied many men. Laws that mandate us seem to bind us within. I am a martyr but I can’t die for what I believe in cause others chose to barter and rather torture him My home is a cell I find to be my only safe haven. My comfort level unstable, ’cause life’s weight constantly weighs in.

About the Book
Po-Life is a compilation of poetry reflecting Life as seen through the eyes and journey of the author, detailing his realities and conquest of Love, Lust and Life. Although writing poetry is a way for him to release, open up and communicate to the world, it is subsequently a means for him to escape and cope with the way he is living.
About the Author
Supreme Cheese was born into a life of chaos in the South Jersey town of Wildwood. Conceived June 10, 1982 to pro-survivalist, Linda Denise Matto, a young mother of three, determined to do anything for her kids, who's actions ultimately landed herself in jail. As a result, his early childhood consisted of a lot of riding in the back of state cars, separations, & being moved from home to home. At the age of 8 he and his second oldest brother were rescued from an abusive foster home, by his aunt, Sonia Y Jones (Matto) and late uncle in law, Tracey A Jones, whom he grew to love dearly and look upon as a father figure. Though the harsh realities of life presented itself to him at an early age, he destined himself to deserve greater, thus creating the same desire for money as his mother, believing that would free him of a broken life. His ambitions led him to excel in school and whatever he put his mind to. However, his struggles for success almost cost him to give up on life and he began drowning his troubles in alcohol and sex at the age of 16. A decision to join the Military after graduating Montclair High would change his life. Although he still found his past and troubles hard to escape, it ultimately helped him find purpose and expose his true niche for writing.
