About the Book

The First Step to a Blissful Marriage is a book written out of a passion to guide people (young and not so young) in choosing the right person to marry. Choice is  very foundational to a blissful marriage. Some of the topics covered in the book are:  factors that can influence the choice of whom to marry; wrong and right reasons to marry; some warning signals to watch out for when choosing a spouse; and common challenges people face when making their choice. Some of the questions that readily come to the mind of someone intending to marry were also addressed. The book is written with a strong Christain bias, but there is something in it for everyone who desires to have a successful marriage.

About the Author

Chris Gbenle is the Pastor in charge of the Fountain of Love parish of the RCCG, Aberdeen. A medical doctor by profession, but now in fulltime Christian ministry, and has held a pastoral post for 12 years.  

He is a keen teacher of the word of God, and very passionate about seeing people relieved of their pain and affliction. He is strongly into  compassion ministry in the city where he is based, making an impact for the Lord Jesus Christ. He has a strong counselling ministry in his church which deals with a whole range of problems, not least marriage and relationship problems.

He has been married to his beautiful wife, Nike for over twenty one years, and they are blessed with 3 wonderful children – Demi, Dami and Dara.

Sharp Ugwuocha is a Deacon and the Acting Parish Pastor of House of Praise RCCG Dundee Scotland.

Sharp, though currently a Senior Design Engineer based in Aberdeen has been in charge of the Marriage Ministry of the Fountain of Love RCCG Aberdeen. He is deeply involved in organising and teaching in the Pre-Marital School for over 4 years.

He also has a passion for missions and has been involved in church planting and evangelism in many towns in the North East of Scotland.
