"Miracles happen every day to people. Some on a larger scale than others. Sometimes we are eyewitnesses or it even happens to us. Sometimes we hear about what happened to someone else or the miracle is on the news. “The Miracle on the Hudson....” “Hey did you hear...no cancer in the tests results, it's a miracle!” or “the truck just missed us by seconds...a miracle!” “If that tree had fallen just a fraction of an inch to the left.....a miracle!”
Other times they are so small, that we wouldn't normally think of them as miraculous.
One thing is for sure, we all need miracles. We ask for them and expect them. Miracles can ignite our faith where there is none, and strengthen already existing faith. Faith is in itself a Miracle that God does as He works in the human heart to bring about belief in His son Jesus, as our Savior. Sometimes this is an “a-ha” moment in a person's life, but most of the time it is a series of events, small and subtle that bring us to this saving faith. No fanfare, no party with confetti, except maybe in Heaven! But however it comes to be, it is a miracle.
I could share about that miraculous moment in my life... how old I was, who I was with, how all the dots of church, prayer, Bible stories, and faith connected to.... a Person. I could share about that, but.....”

About the Book
Our Women's Christian Book Club began with four women over six years ago. Over the years we have evolved and shared many stories with one another of our lives and what we have witnessed. Several stories came as direct results of reading certain Christian books, both fiction and nonfiction. As believers in Jesus Christ and His Father's incredible power, we recognize that the stories of special happenings cannot possibly be just coincidences or fate. We know deep in our hearts that God's hand is definitely in the situations, the timing, the people involved, and the peace that accompanies the occurrences. We started to call these stories our “Miracles”. The Book Club women each wrote their own Miracle Stories, so that we may spread our love for our Lord and inspire faith in His power and glory. By reading these stories, we pray that you too will see that only God could have orchestrated these events, and you will open your eyes to see the Miracles occurring every day around you. These stories include: Answers to prayer Promptings from the Holy Spirit allow for early health detections Jesus comes to one woman in a dream Needed items appear just in time Relationships are healed once forgiveness is asked Dead Grandfather appears in a great time of need
