TOWARDS EXILE

I am a poet all

Alone. I stand or fall

On my integrity,

Another name to call

Honesty, that fairness

That is complete, no wall

Between compartments. I

May share with you my small

Stature, my string of words,

But not my poet's shawl

Of what I learnt today,

The day I shed my caul.
