"God's Work" is about our everyday heroes and their reflection to do God's Work. The events in this book demostrates what it means to get involve. This book will truly get you the reader to better understand there are many heroes out there and what they mean to us all. They consist of everyday Citizens, Family members, Law Enforcement Officers, Firefighters, Emergency Rescue Teams, Medical and Military Personnel.
This book talks about one of those heroes. He is a retired highly decorated Law Enforcement Officer, and citizen.
This book talks about the writers personal experience with helping many people. It also talks about the lives that were saved and how the writer feels it was a reflection on "God's Work".
The writer Abe Usera talks about some of the events that took place in his life that he felt was a reflection on "God's Work. The events had taken place throughout his childhood and adult life.
This book contains events that are truly heart touching. The contents in this book has accurate perception of what it is to be a believer of God's Work. The events told by Abe are true to the best of his ability.
You will notice some of the events told involved some of Abe's family. Some family members are victims and some were doing God's Work.
Abe writes about how he feels through Faith, Love and Charity "God's Work" got him through it all.
About the Author
Abraham "Abe" Usera, retired Law Enforcement Officer, born in New York City. New Yok on November 22, 1944. He has 10 brothers and one sister. He married his long time best friend Patricia Ann. He had lost a 21 year son from an accident and an unborn child. His daughter has four boys. And his 21 year son had a daughter after his death.
Abe has gone through the Sacraments of his Catholic Faith. He had attended Catholic and Public Schools throughout his life. He graduated from Franklin K. Lane High School in Brooklyn, New York, the University of South Dakota with a Associates Degree in Criminal Justice Studies and the Saint Leo Catholic University, Florida with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honors in Criminology. He had attended many other specialized courses of training in many fields.
His hobbies consist of sports, music and getting involved with helping people. He truly is a "Jack of all Trades". He is a leader, father, grandfather, brother, best friend, coach, teacher, a great volunteer to his community and a life saver.
He has gone through some bad times and good times in his life. He wanted to write about some of his events in his life that are involving the good times. He also feels there are people out there only see Law Enforcement Officers just arresting people. He wanted to write about the every day heroes out there that do more than arresting people.
He always feels through his faith, love and compassion of God's Work got him through it all. He had taken some of his events that he was involved with throughout his life to show how we are reflected with God's Work. So he spent many weeks and what ever money he could obtain to get this book done. He wanted to tell his personal stories of events he was involved with throughout his childhood and to his adult life.
