About the Author
Mr. Leroy Colley Sr. is a life-long resident of the City of Maple Heights, Ohio. Married, and recently widowed, he is the father of two, and grandfather of four. He has been very active in the City of Maple Heights, and in his church, Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
Mr. Colley has been listed in Ebony's owned Jet Magazine, nationally known as "Who's Who in 1992". He serves as a Board Member of the Y.M.C.A., Mt. Sinai Hospital's Volunteer Cardiac Support Group and has received many awards for his outstanding accomplishments in helping and working with people.
Mr. Colley has an extensive business background in both the public and private sector. He has worked as the Advertising Director for the Call and Post Newspaper and as part of the Management team with several large corporations, such as, Cook United Inc. and The Sherwin Williams Company. Prior to his retirement from the Call and Post he served as Administrative Assistant to the Mayor of the City of Maple Heights. His experience in the public sector came through his past employment with the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland.
Mr. Colley possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fenn College and successfully completed a three-year program with the American Institute of Banking.
