Shadow the dog was out after dark, So he decided to take himself off to the park. He was quite sure that he knew the way as his Loved Ones took him there every day. So off he trotted with the wind in his face I'll be there in no time if I keep up this pace. Soon he arrived at the gates which were shut I'll just have to go round by the gardener's hut. Oh he thought this is a lark, I'm all on my own and it's dark, very dark.

About the Book
Shadow the Dog takes himself to the park on his own one moonlit night. Follow his exciting adventures as Shadow goes on a mission for the sinister crows. By day he chases and torments them, but by night he must rid them of a terrible monster. Can Shadow, with the help of the other inhabitants of the park, save the crows? Or has he bitten off more than he can chew? This richly illustrated children's poem tells us what our faithful friends really get up to at night.
About the Author
J.K. Bird has a life long passion for poetry - both reading and writing it. She lives in London with her husband and Shadow their beloved long-haired German Shepherd dog. Shadow was the inspiration for this story.
