Fiona the fox wanted to be a soccer player, just like her Grand dad Fox. The team she wanted to be on was the Posh Poodles soccer team. Many of her friends did not think she could join this team because she was not a poodle. Fiona came up with a creative way to get on the team.... to disguise herself as a poodle. This was not successful. Her best friend Skeeter came up with an even better idea... try out as herself! Fiona worked hard on her soccer skills. She was very determined and motivated! During her next tryout, her outstanding skills impressed the Poodles on the Posh Poodles soccer team and they quickly welcomed Fiona to their team.
This is a great children's story about motivation, determination, and staying true to oneself. Children need to believe they can succeed and reach their goals and dreams. This books proves that you can achieve whatever it is that you put your mind to.

About the Book

About the Author
Allison DiDomenico was born in 1978 and grew up outside of Boston, Massachusetts. After receiving her bachelors degree, she went back to school to get her Masters in Education. She has a love for learning and a love for drawing; and ever since she was a child had dreams for writing and illustrating book. Now, as an educator of young children, her goal is to get her students motivated to learn and succeed. She feels that if you believe you can do something... you can! Through this she decided to put all of her dreams and goals together to write "motivating" children's books. Becoming an author and illustrator has is an achievement she is very proud of.
