CHRISTIANITY AND ALCOHOL(WINE)

so one should not condemn people when they see them drinking wine or any other alcoholic drink, but what they do produce or their deeds as the Lord Himself do put it.

Matthew 15: 17-19, does justify the above statement.

17. Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated?

18. But those things which proceed out of the mouth comes from the heart, and they defile a man.

19. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. (Source; The New King James Version).

The word I want you to note in the Lord Jesus Christ statement is, ' Whatever ', Meaning all things including drinking of wine or any other alcoholic drink do not defile a man, but what comes out of his mouth. So drinking wine or any alcoholic drink wisely is not a sin.

I know people who get drunk, most of the time do silly things and sometimes foolish things, that is why getting drunk is a sin, but one should know that drinking responsibly or wisely is different from someone who drinks to get drunk.

Jesus Christ according to the Bible which I believe wholeheartedly, says He never did sin, but I also know that He did drink wine, according to the bible which this book do proof. Therefore drinking wine or any alcoholic drink wisely ( thus, not drinking to get drunk) is not a sin, but getting drunk is a sin which Jesus Christ never did.

Money is good, but the love of money is the root of all evil, according to the Bible. So having money in itself is not a sin. It is when one begins to love money, that is when one begins to sin.

Also, drinking wine is not a sin, it is when one begins to love wine, thus getting drunk, or without a drink you can't do anything, that is when one begins to sin.

Too much of food is bad for a person, same as too much wine or any alcoholic drink.
