About the Book
The poetry range is quite diverse in subject matter ranging from humour, politics, life and of course love, what poet would not write about love? We hope you enjoy reading them as much as Dan and Lulu have enjoyed writing them for you in this their second book together. They have many fans who will be delighted to see this book come to publication as their first has been a tremendous success.
About the Author
Lulu Gee and Dan Lake have come together once again to co-author this second book of 100 of their most popular poems. Dan is one of many poets who feel that poetry has been 'hijacked' by academia and taken away from the people. In his own words he feels he’d 'like to give poetry back to them.' This, along with Lulu’s poetry is his attempt at doing so. They understand there are many levels of poetry and have met on the net many, many wonderful poets of various levels who mostly won’t personally consider themselves as poets and think that’s a crying shame. They both believe that you, the reader want to read poetry you can readily understand and perhaps draw parallels with or give you food for thought. Lulu and Dan both come from very humble backgrounds with poor to middling education, so are feeling very proud to have written this second book as their first was so successful and their loyal fans await eagerly for its publication.
