Imagine for a moment a pit where hounds fought for their masters to the death. Now imagine our world is this pit, and the humanoids are the ones inside fighting, and outside of the ring are gods. Our world the pit is known as the mortal realm, which to the gods was a battleground. At that time, the gods played a game that we now know as Chock, a game played by our officers in the military or perhaps a few of us at home. The gods used races of the mortal realm to be their champions in their game of Chock. Their champions would battle under the gods' direction either to kill the opponents champion or checkmate it.
It was at this time a few of the gods began to feel for their champions that they were slaughtering, or at least pity us. The fascination with all the emotions and intelligence, the elves and humans had fascinated them so much that they decided to leave the world at peace. But the only true way for this was for all the gods to leave, or lose. As a battleground, the loser is forced out of the realm and cannot return unless invited by the victor. But there was more to the rules of winning the mortal realm than anyone realized. No one can say for sure what, but it is believed that Morgloth, the God of Demons, and the most powerful god of them all knew, holding a special spot for the mortal realm, and it wasn't to save the races of the world.
This is when the gods decided to play one final match together, and bring in another opponent to their chock game: me. I was the most appealing to the Morgloth, the Demon God, who could see into the mind of every living creature on the planet including the lesser gods that held matches against him, and was the first to choose me as his worthy opponent. It was I, he'd seen and deemed worthiest from the rest of the races. Each of the gods had given me power over their sands, even Morgloth; I was known as the mightiest of them all: a Battle Mage. A normal Battle Mage held all the sands and wasn't able to use too much power, so the gods made it so I could go beyond the boundaries of using the powers I was given. I was named the Kiser Mage, the King of all Mages.
Before the battle, I was invited into Karhan's realm, the God of Dragons. He had given me a gift with the help of the goddess of elves to have a second mind, a mind that could be hidden in the mortal realm from Morgloth's all-seeing.
With our pact, I went to the Dark Lords' realm where I played an awful trick to befriend the Dark God in portraying the other gods' plan to get rid of him. The Dark God fell for it and was quick to appear at the scene of the crime. To his failure, he was trapped using the sands of power I held, only a true Kiser mage not even a god could unlock the key for the Dark God's entry back to the realm.
The Sun God was the trickiest; his power was needed to nurture the mortal realm, but his evil trickery and passion to watch our people suffer and die needed to be stopped. In this, the two gods had gotten the help of the father of nature where they pretended to show him a game of how to win Morgloth, but had actually used the rules of the mortal realm to defeat him. The Sun God was banned from the mortal realm, where his power can reside within the human race.
Morgloth was the only one out of the gods who hadn't set foot upon the realm and had every right as a god to do so. This is one thing all the gods could agree on: if Morgloth was allowed into the mortal realm, all the gods would perish under his evil power. A shield was devised and held by the God of Dragons. To ensure its strength, I was asked to trap him within a mountain of crystals. I took the Anzi Barbarians and assigned a large tribe to hold the key for the mountain. The key was for a warrior to kill a baby dragon at least every ten years, which the god had created; the power would then flow into the shield and secure the lock, holding the god prisoner.
The Goddess of Light, or the Elvin Goddess, had surrendered to me and before fleeing to her own realm casted an immortal being to watch over her favored race. It was up to me from that moment on to keep Morgloth from coming to the mortal realm.
