About the Author

My name is Robert Cannon and I was born the 15 /03 / 1956 in a small southren town in Georgia called Lumpkin--with a population of about 2,400 peoples if that many. My farher was a poor black southern farmer who did many jobs to keep us children with food and clothes on our backs--My Mother was and still is a normal house wife who cared for all of her 10 children, and loved each one of us. I started school in 1963 at the Stewart County High School where I graducated from the same school twelve years later--in 1974.and I join the U S Army on 27-04-77 and came on Active Duty 27-07-77 at Fort Jackson S.C--graducated from there and went to AIT at Sand Hill -Fort Benning Ga---from there I went to jump school at Fort Benning for three weeks--graducated from there and went to permanent party at Fort Bragg,N C with the 82nd Airborne Division on Bastone Road...CSC CO 2/325th Infantry ( TOW ) after that I came down on levy and was shipped to Germany to 3rd ID in WÜrzburg--was processed and sent to Aschaffenburg CSC CO 1/4 Infantry-on Fíori Barracks---ETS from the U S Army 1984-stayed six months or so in th Us. and then came by to Germany where I now live and have been living over twenty- five years---was married but now divorce after seven years.
