About the Book

This book is about all the things that I'm not, and in doing so, is really an inside look at all the things that I am. As a child, I hated poetry. I thought it was too girly for guys to read. Going through my divorce from my first marriage, and the legal fight I had just to see my children; I found out that poetry is very passionate and very therapeutic. I found the passion that I had been missing in my first marriage by writing it into my poems and even though I'm not talented enough to write my poetry in rhymes, I am hoping each one will strike a cord to the reader on a personal or maybe even a spiritual level. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be somebody or something else? This book lets you try it out. Ever wondered what it would be like to be black? To be God? To be gay? To be a sliding glass door? To be a used car salesman? This book gives you that chance to step into these different worlds without ever having to leave to comfort of you world. So buckle up and enjoy the ride.

About the Author

Kelly Klemetsrud is the adopted son of James and Frances Klemetsrud, who are the equivalent to Super Man & Wonder Woman in the real world of today. He has lived many lives in his 47 years and taps into each of these in his poems. He still lives life with the exuberance of youth but is tempered with the pain of experience. He's crazy in love with his wife, Sabra, and considers himself very blessed to have the three best daughters and son a father could hope to have. He cries at most movies and goes crazy for his Miami Dolphins (owns 175 Miami jerseys) & Baltimore Orioles. He is one of the best karate instructors in the world along with being a fantastic cook. His fierce passion for the people and things he loves know no boundaries. He is always ready to learn something new but hates being taught. He believes life is an adventure and should be lived to the fullest and you should always take a chance because it might be the last chance you get. The secret to life is to love God, your wife, your children, your job, and then yourself and keep thanking them for being in your life. He honestly believe this is the best book of poetry you will ever read. So Enjoy and thank you.
