About the Book
NETTIE BY THE SEA STORIES are short stories based on true adventures experienced along the East Coast and inland waterways of the Atlantic Seaboard. The first set of stories take place in the seashore towns and resorts of Avalon New Jersey,
Nettie is an energetic creative American girl with a love for her family, friends and life. She makes an art of collecting certain shells, fishing, crabbing, telling adventure stories, and inventing great ideas. She shares ‘places of interest’ in these towns with ideas of constructive and fun things to do.
Future NETTIE BY THE SEA STORIES will take Nettie and her readers riding Cape May/Lewis Ferry home into a hurricane,

About the Author
Juliet Grey Kelsey is an author of childrens' original and classic story adaptations. She has been a folk musician for over forty years. She developed her art at the Hedgerow Theatre in Rose Valley, Pennsylvania where she taught, directed, and still acts in their musical children’s theatre. Her plays are still being preformed at Hedgerow.
An accomplished musician and actress, Grey shares her experience and versatility with her students. Presently Grey is directing theatre enrichment classes for the Media Providence Friends School in Pa. and has a continuing
Grey travels a circuit during the year to all the areas she writes about. Telling Nettie stories and playing her ballads. Nettie by the Sea Stories are based on true experiences Grey had growing up and visiting all the Atlantic seaboard locations with friends and family.
Her dream is to relive and write all her stories from the sea to the mountains vicariously through Nettie and stay connected to the youthful energies of the world.
