This book was written for any one who has been hurt by the ones whom they trusted as a child. It is ones testimony for the light he discovers in the ones he loved, but always took for granted. He learns the love of his father was always there. This isn't a therapy manual. One's past can become a guidepost; not a whipping post.It's easy reading, basically a screenplay. A screenplay designed for a movie. The subject matter deals with a man trying to come to terms with an emotional blackout as a child that deals with homosexuality and teenage masturbation. The theme of man's cruelty to his fellow man is slightly brushed upon;; however deals with the struggle within ones own self. Acceptance, of the fact that family members are simply human beings. The scene at Casinova, Wis. of the reaction on a community when a principal is slain while doing his job, creates a transformation of soul with in the main character. Basically; one ties himself to his own whipping post with how he deals with his own memories.

Story of a recovery drug addict and alcoholic. Threatens to kill his father. who was a principle of the High School that he had to attend as a child. The name of the school was named after a famous President during the civil war. Pranks students play on statues during the sixty's and 70's to prove a point. Comes back home 30 years later to make peace with him. The healing of a tormented past. Involving family secrets during 60's and 70's of military and political issues. When a principle gets assasinated by a disgruntled student - he questions his own purpose in life. It's never to late to get honest with the ones you love. How does one explain to the world about how precious reading and writing is in America? Spiritual literature is banned (crime) in over 50 countries in this world. When this nation was at war with Iraq, an Islamic woman gave this Author the Quran. The Grandson of an worldwide theologian, senior Naval Commander chaplain at the Naval academny when Isreal was formed in 1948. How precious are our freedoms. Over 80 percent of this book is true. The timing of Erik Hainstock's shooting at Casenova,Wisconsin and what this author saw. This book is more of a public record than it is a fictious story. ONLY IN AMERICA !!!!
About the Author
Youngest of 3 children. National Honor Society in high school. Knew how to read and write before he went to kindergarten. He grew up watching a black & white T.V. series about a former confederate soldier that turned bounty hunter. Steve McQueen was a young actor backed then. The book has nothing to do with the actor but he did carry a specialized 30 - 30 rifle in his holster. Shortend barrell and wood stock. Think Josh Randall was his character name. Seriously though, the book speaks for itself. I was told once that I was only as sick as my secrets. Question remained for me was this, was I as sick as the family secrets? Came up twice in my childhood that our family was part of something called a Warren Commision investigation. Then advised never to talk about it. Therapeutic or not; I wrote this story. The author, myself, has inquired about a local book signing, things are in the works. Personally he is scared do-do less. *****I am Christina Williams, Technology Trainer, and I have known "Josh Randal" for over two years. I have helped him become computer literate, enough so that he has published his first book. We each have a past, present and future, read this book to see how others adapt to change in their lives.
