As she stood just feet from the building shivers ran up her spine. It was very clear this was an old barn that was barely standing on its own. The door hung with a rusty, old hinge at the bottom, and one hanging loosely at the top. The remnants of a fire lay some thirty yards from the barn and age old, broken bottles were scattered about. Wolfe had already nudged his way inside, and was now poking his head back out of the door making a whimpering sound as though to gain her attention. Then he let out a loud bark and stepped back inside. "What is it boy, you corner a rabbit in there?" The old barn door let out a creaking noise as though it were crying in pain when Sara pulled it open to enter inside. Suddenly she froze stiff as if she had seen a ghost. Her eyes widened and tears filled the sockets of her eyes and began to trickle down her cheeks. Her mind raced in circles as she went into a state of shock.

About the Book
Sara is a sweet, but naive young girl raised all her life on the vast countryside in Virginia where neighbors are few and far in between. Until shortly after her fourteenth birthday the family relocates to a suburban area in Maryland after her father decides it's in their best interest for financial reasons. Though Sara will miss the only life she has known, still she looks forward to the move with hopes and dreams of fitting in and making friends. Little does anyone realize that Sara's welcoming committee will be a group of uncontrollable teens who severely bully her, and later devise a plan to commit an unspeakable crime against her that will go unpunished. Leaving Sara with emotional scars that will dwell deep inside her for years to come. Creating nightmare's that force her to relive the crimes committed against her over and over. No one knew the secrets she lived with, tucked away deep inside. Nor did they know that some day Sara's past would collide with her present, and that all Hell would break loose at the High School Reunion.
About the Author
Both writing and art have always been a passion with her. She began showing both abilities as a child, and gained recognition for her talents throughout her school years. Though it would not be until later years that she would become published. Having a short passage published in True Story magazine, and go on to receive awards for her accomplishments through other venues. Some of her poetry can be found set to audio, accompanied by orchestra music. Her work can also be found in publications such as "Between the Raindrops", as well as her contribution to the worlds "Poem for Peace". Most all her works are based on real life situation's, however having the imagination and niche for horror, and edge of your seat thriller.
