About the Author

Terri tells tales that keep children—and even adults—spellbound. Her years of teaching college communication courses; storytelling in parks, churches, and schools; and taking numerous adventures to foreign lands; impart inspiration and enchantment to all who gather in. Her spoken and written words are woven with wisdom, timely, and poignant. They deliver a much needed message: treasure—don’t take for granted—those we love. Her stories, many based on personal experiences, show us how to love ourselves and, hence, others, through trusting in a childlike way; grieving loss, and rejoicing in renewal, reconciliation, facing fears, intergenerational bonding, and giving richly.    

Terri holds degrees in speech (BA) and public address (MA). In addition to having taught at numerous colleges, she was awarded a grant to teach creative dramatics to children as a learning tool, whereby groups of her students planned and acted out stories without scripts or props so as to develop imagination, creativity, and interpersonal skills.

Terri has devoted much of her life, as a homemaker, to her grateful husband and her three children. She instilled in her family a love for reading, adventure, relationships, and spirituality.
