These are the time, the day, and the season we shall learn how to consistently let God in-- in every circumstance of our life. This will enable us to experience victory after victory in our lives.
I have seen so many precious sons and daughter of God who refused to let Him in.
I see so many whose health are being compromised, who are gradually dying, but still they ignorantly refuse to let Him in. He always knocks at the doors of their heart patiently asking “Why not let me in?”
We struggle in so many things because we refuse to let Him in. Will you let Him in today?
You may ask me where, when should we let Him in? You might as well ask me who should let Him in.
You are the one who should let Him in. And you should be letting Him in, in every circumstance in your life, even in those circumstances you felt you do not need help. It could be in your studies, job seeking, relationship, protections, divine help, and creative miracles. You could start to involve Him now that it is still fresh in your mind because tomorrow you may not feel like you need Him.
Each time we let Him really in, there is always peace on the inside of us that springs to soothe the ache plaguing us and miracles as well happen. Remember when the disciples of Christ let Him in their boat? There was peace. Remember when Peter let Him in, in his house? His mother in- law got healed. Remember when Zacheus let Him in? Salvation came to his home.
If we are to experience the manifestation of His power we must practice letting Him in every circumstance of our lives.
Each time the Israelites pushed Him outside the door of their hearts, darkness was all over the land. Think on the days of Eli the priest, on hearing the departure of the Glory by the reason of the captured Ark-- associated with His presence. Eli had to give up his ghost! The reason was because he knew that life without Him is not worth living. The daughter in-law too on hearing of the departure of the glory gave birth before her due date. The labor came on her suddenly on hearing the sad news. She could not compare the high cost of the departed glory with the good news of a new baby boy she brought into the earth. She too knew there was nothing that could be worth exchanging with His presence. When God is outside any life, life will always lose its meaning. If most of people who decorate and cover themselves with so many artificial things in name of joy will tell you their story, you would know the depth of horror of living lives without Christ being in control.
When Joshua went out for war against Ai, they lost the battle because they could not stand before their enemy. They had put God outside as a result of the sin in their lives. God was not let in to be in their midst; the result was that they could not stand before their enemy.
In the same way some of us today cannot stand before our enemies because we have pushed God outside the boat of our lives. However, we can turn around today while the day is still before night comes when no man can do any work.
When we let Him in then our lives will start to change from inside out. Such changes begin from our thinking. Thinking in terms of the Word will revolutionizes our thoughts pattern into thinking God` s thoughts. This is a process which starts the moment we start to allow the word of God to correct us which will always lead to transformation of our mind into Gods model of thinking and reasoning.
Thinking God's thought affect our confession and you know that our confessions are product of stuffs in our hearts. Getting our thinking proper becomes vital important since the way we think affect our emotions and the way we feel will produce the decision we make and the decisions we often make generate the type of action we takes. The actions we often take will produce our habits and that habit will create our character and our character will then form our personality which will be often expressed by our confessions, actions and decisions.
Through remembering the promises of God in the Bible for us or some dreams we received from God yet to be fulfilled, prophecies spoken over our lives etc. There is always a spark of hope and strength coming from our inside each time we remember those promises, dreams, and prophecies.
The motivations from the knowledge of God's promises will compel us to do something with those truths so that we can experience them in our lifetime. And as we respond to the truth positively through the help of the Holy Spirit, time in the word, time in prayer and time alone with God, as well as insights on the lives of past Bible heroes; we will be experiencing victory after victory in things we face in this life even in the midst of trials and difficulties.
Our transformed character/life will now position us to reign with Christ now in our time.
