A new element had entered the equation. It made the combinations of rays now accompanied by sound frequencies more complicated but they were starting to get results.
After a few more trials they discovered that many of the chords and bass lines played in the Alien's music produced the best overall results. The next series of experiments proved to be very exciting but unpredictable. Experiment 984 subject item, Earthen Ware bowl remained static the Model Car rose up into the air about six feet, then without warning at sudden phenomenal speed, flew directly at Kerry and her father narrowly missing them, and smashing into the laboratory wall behind them. Oddly every piece had turned into a small silver ball, about the size of a child's marble and now possessed a seemingly never ending bouncing property. They just kept bouncing all around the laboratory with sound of hundreds of marbles continually dropping on concrete. "They're not stopping bouncing" shouted Stuart over the racket. "Worse than that dad"shouted Kerry "their bounce rate and velocity are increasing"as Kerry noticed a few of them starting to bounce higher and faster. One of the balls bounced off one of the laboratory benches and its velocity increased further. Every time it bounced off something else it got quicker until it was ricocheting around the room like a bullet. "If they all start doing that we're in trouble" shouted Stuart. One by one the silver balls gained momentum and like the first one, began to ricochet around the laboratory; "You had to say it didn't you dad" shouted Kerry.
Eventually all the balls were ricocheting around the room like machine gun fire instead of bouncing off objects, they were piercing through them!
"We have to nullify the effect of the bathing rays before the lab gets destroyed and we're killed" shouted Kerry as they both ducked behind the control panel. "I'll try reversing the last process" shouted Stuart as he took the controls keeping as low as he could. We need to ray dose the entire volume of the laboratory but we can't risk being bathed" shouted Kerry.
"Your right" screamed her father being narrowly missed by 2 silver balls. "I'll set the timer for 10 seconds. We have to get out of the lab" Stuart slammed the activating button. "Run away" he shouted. He and Kerry ran with their heads down to the entrance of the laboratory. They opened the door as three silver balls hit embedding themselves into it. They jumped out into the corridor slamming the door closed behind them. They could still hear the balls slamming with increasing velocity into the door then a loud deep hum, as the timed Ray bathing activated. Instantly the slamming stopped. The Ray bath lasted for its duration of seventeen and a half seconds and switched itself off. Kerry looked at her father they were both breathing very heavily. "That went well" said Stuart "We nearly got killed and destroyed the lab in the process" shouted Kerry. "I know it may have been a bit scary" said Stuart. "A BIT SCARY" shouted Kerry. "I think i may have to go home and change my underwear" Stuart started to laugh then he looked Kerry straight in her lovely eyes and said "You and i are not quite aware of what created that result, but what happened in the lab then was totally against the laws of phyiscs" "I think its safe to go back in . Lets review the damage and analyse what took place.
They both entered the laboratory. Hundreds of silver balls were peppered everywhere, embedded in the walls and equipment. Kerry approached the central podium and looked at the remaining subject item, the earthen ware bowl. It had remained unmoved and apparently unchanged. Kerry touched it. "Dad what do you make of this?" She carried it to her father placing in his hands. What appeared to be perfectly normal earthen ware bowl had become a soft rubber replica. There was a soft tapping sound from above. Kerry and her father looked up to see the cuddly toy, the pink elephant, bouncing against the ceiling. "That's fascinating" said Stuart. "I thought you might say that" said Kerry "We have to take stock and analyse what has happened here otherwise we will never reach the deadline" said Stuart. "Dad the process is out of control, i don't think we have enough time" answered Kerry "There's been far more significant results since you have joined me on this exercise. We certainly can't stop now", her father was more serious than she had ever known, That last experiment alone produced results that have immense implications on the laws of physics. All we can do is analyse adjust and carry on, we can't stop now.
