Help for troubled Destinies examines destiny related issues by breaking them down to specific details that people can relate with and also proffer solutions to identified problems. It begins with the examination of what God did in the beginning, the foundation of empowerment He laid for us to excel, where we missed it and His follow-up plan. This in-depth background approach clearly shows us that we were empowered to succeed from the beginning as revealed in the divine encounter in Genesis Chapter 1:28. God blessed them and gave them five faith commands that they must follow in order to excel. These are: i) Be fruitful, and ii) multiply, and iii) replenish the earth, and iv) subdue it, and v) have dominion.
From this background and the understanding of the divine requirement for success, we should be able to comprehend why God had to introduce a rescue plan when man failed God as recorded in Psalm 82:5: “They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.” This should encourage us to respond to God's rescue plan of restoration to the paths of life by making the diligent efforts to Ascend, Stand, Abide and Dwell in His presence (Ps 24:3 and 15:1). By following these prayer steps the reader can regain, explore, enjoy and fulfill the five divine principles.
More importantly the book further introduces us to four core principles that can help a person to identify and fulfill his goals. These are the need to Pray it, Weigh (Evaluate) it, Say (Declare) it and Pay (The Price) it. Without these four fulfilling a vision becomes a mirage.
It also introduces us to the importance of warfare, -even though we walk in the flesh, we war not after the flesh. Spiritually, warfare is crucial in stopping the onslaught of destiny terminators.
The next segment specifically identifies the various troubled destinies from the Bible with living examples that readers can relate with. It ends with hope - God is beautiful for all situations (Ps. 48:1-2). It traces the biblical and real life testimonies of those whom the Lord broke through in their lives. This chapter rests solely on the fact that there is hope and help for troubled destinies.
