Thinking that something must not be right, I made my son remain in the car while I ran quickly to the door and as I began to knock at the door, it swung open. I could not go any further because the exterior security door had been pad locked. When I looked into the living room area, I could see my nephew lying on the floor. I cried out his name; but, there was no response. At this point, I screamed but nobody heard me. I was in extreme panic, hopped back into my car and went to the phone booth at the corner and dialed 911. The fire department arrived, sawed off the lock, and the worst possible discovery ever unfolded right before my eyes.

After experiencing not one, but two simultaneous homicides in her family, Nancy Loyd realized that forgiving the one guilty of their murders was the only way of releasing herself from the pain of their loss. About the Author
Nancy Loyd's passion is for those that have found themselves behind prison doors and believes that upon their release; with God's help, they can live a changed life. She serves as the Director of the Prison Ministry at True Light International Ministries where she has ministered to those who are incarcerated over the past 5 years. She is also a member of the Missionary and Women's Department. Nancy Loyd serves on the Board of Directors of a local men's shelter, Brother's Keeper. She is owner of HirePower Employment Services, holds a Bachelors Degree and has been a Human Resource Professional over the past 20 years.
