About the Book

This is a book about fun, using the imagination and occasional (not too bossy) little reminders about how we should treat others. Some stories are old, familiar ones with new twists. Some are completely new. Most of them appear in my mind, usually as I'm dropping off to sleep, and then I have to put the light on and write them down. Suitable for children from 5+ yrs upwards, even for adults. Great for bedtime, parent/grandparent, read-out-loud stories.

About the Author

Rose Bell (nee Rosemary Wilkins) was born on D Day in the West Midlands. She spent her school days there and then went on to St. Mary's Teacher Training College in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Rose taught for over thirty years in primary schools, both in the Midlands and in Southampton but took ten years out of teaching when her two children were small. These poems have been written over the years, for her classes, school assemblies and also just for fun and are now ready to be shared with others. In 1999, Rose gained an MA (Visual Literacy) in Art Education at Southampton University (King Alfred's College), which was completed just after she retired. She has two very grown up children, two lurcher dogs, who take her for walks in the New Forest, a husband and also loves art and pottery and playing her cello and piano.
