About the Book
Carlos de Lorenzo is an ordinary boy from a poor, hard-working family in an unremarkable Mexican town. Not as academic as his younger brother, perhaps, and with a tendency to get into trouble, but a normal boy who loved his mother.
Carlos’ father, seeing his son unable to pass his exams or get a job, eventually offers him the money to set up in business. Carlos may not have qualifications but he has ideas and business sense and to everyone’s surprise makes a go of it.
Gradually drawn into a world of guns, drugs and intrigue, Carlos finds himself enjoying the money and the power.
About the Author
Evasha Kumar was born in Pietermaritzburg, Natal, Republic of South Africa. She is a qualified Accountant. She moved to the United Kingdom in 2002 where she worked as a Assistant Finance Controller at the Thistel Hotel in Manchester. In 2003 she moved to Stafford where she worked as a Financial Manager at the Tillington Hall Hotel. She married her husband Deepak Kumar in 2004. They have three daughters Aleena, Samira and Kerisha and a son Ashwin Deepak Kumar. Although she enjoys living and working in the UK, she has stated that “South Africa will always be home to me”. She enjoys writing for pleasure and have a weakness for the fantasy worlds. She write in between looking after the kids. When she is not writing or emailing her fans she enjoys relaxing and spending time with her husband and kids.
